Creative Juices

I'm stewing in those right now. It's great. I'm churning out pages like nobody's business. And it feels so good, it's like a mojo high. But a few weeks ago that wasn't the case. After our move I just wasn't in the mood to scrap. Not even with all the free time I had since I wasn't online all the time. Not even after I finally got my studio set up. It was frustrating but I knew it would pass. That's a lesson that I learned in the last 10 months that I have been doing the Layout-a-Day Challenge on Two Peas, led by the amazing Marci.
I know now that my creativity comes and goes in waves, and it's a good thing. When I draw a blank I know that means I need to take a break, to focus on other things, to recharge said mojo in other ways. So I try to roll with it. I bake, or decorate, or play with photography. I cruise online galleries and flip through magazines, scrapbooking as well as others. And then suddenly one day "click" there it is and I'm off and running again.

Totally AMAZING layout! I know what you mean about a groove, though. LOAD has definitely taught me to go faster and think less!

I do the same thing during those periods - it's important to recharge. Usually, you can come back better than ever!

It's good to know about the creativ flows and dont's. Sounds like you are still creating in your breaks just in a different way! Enjoy it!
