We're still in the middle of the move. Actually, I'm not even sure it's the middle yet because right now it feels like it'll never end. With all the stuff we've moved to the new place, it still looks like we're living at the old place. At this point I'm ready to say lets just chuck it all (with the exception of the computers and stereo) and start again from scratch.
But I've sussed the whole moving thing. What I've realised is that while I absolutely hate the moving out part of things, I am having the best time with the moving in part. It's like an extended Christmas: unpacking the boxes, and then finding places for all your cool stuff that you forgot you had. I can't wait to work on setting up my scrap space, I'm already running colour schemes through my mind: definitely a nice apple green and maybe pink, but I'm sure Lucas will veto that one!
We slept at the new place for the first time last night, and it already feels like home. The fact that I didn't have to ease myself into a cold bed probably helped. The heating rocks!! So even though we are surrounded by boxes, forgot to bring any spoons over, and we're living out of suitcases we don't regret a thing.
By the way, I am writing this from the old place. For some reason we still have internet. I'm not gonna ask why, I'm just enjoying it. But the phone will definitely go off sometime today, and I need to pack up the computers anyway, so I'll be back whenever Freebox decides to reconnect us.

Hey Girl, good luck with the move. I hope you are almost finished by now, and that you can concentrate on green and pink decor (hahahaha).
Bonne installation!!!
