Actually known by the correct name La Fete National (if you ask a French person about Bastille Day they won't know what you're talking about) it's the official commemoration of when the peasants stormed the Bastille in Paris in 1789 which led to the French Revolution. So it's a day of official ceremonies and marches (which we aren't going to) but also fireworks tonight (those I hope to see).People are already setting off firecrackers and scaring Mozaique!
The best part of course is that Lucas has a day off, and we have a long weekend together with no obligations.
