Rhonna Farrer is hosting a 21 day long Art Journal Challenge, the theme of which is to make or break a habit. This is based on the generally accepted theory that it takes 21 days for something to become a habit. I've never done an Art Journal before and decided this would be a good opportunity for me to tackle my bad habit of procrastination. I want to keep this as simple as possible, and not approach it like scrapbooking. When I scrap it usually takes me a long time to plan and execute a page and I want this to be more free flowing. So I'm keeping it pretty simple. This is the cover of the book I'm using, it measures 10 inches x 5 inches.
I'm actually one day behind, since I only found out about the challenge yesterday, but that works out well for me. With the time difference I can check out the day's prompt before going to bed, and my intention is to journal my page first thing in the morning, sort of a stream of consciousness writing.
I won't be posting my pages on the blog, but I have included a link to the album of all the pages on Two Peas so that you may follow my progress if you so desire.
