4 Somethings

I'm participating in Studio Friday for the first time today. This week's theme is Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue. I also decided to try my hand at a digital layout for the first time to display my photos. I think I need to get a tutorial from somewhere, digi scrapping is harder than it looks!

Something Old: Lucas is always on the lookout for neat things for me (he knows full well to ask me before he throws anything out lol) and he brought me this old metal box to alter. It's been sitting there for a few months now, I need to get one of those steel brushes to try to get the heavy rust off.

Something New: My wonderful photo printer. I love this thing, every scrapper needs one.

Something Borrowed: I "borrowed" this iron to use in my scrap space. It's the only kind of ironing I enjoy!

Something Blue: Here's a money saving organisational item: a cutlery caddy bought in the kitchen section for a few euros. I use it to store pens, pencils and miscellaneous tools.

This was a fun exercise. The hardest one for me to find was the borrowed item, I had to think about that for a few days and then it hit me.

What a fun layout! I love this idea and think that it would be a great weekly blog challenge! I may just borrow it!

Have a fun weekend!

Great digi layout for your first time!
Now I really want to know what you do with that iron...?

I should do that with my iron...certainly don't iron (a four letter word IMO) with it!!!! I agree - leave the rust ....
