Let's try this again :)

Right! So I need to get into the habit of this else there's no point is there? :)

So what to report? Well I'm no longer employed, but that's a good thing since I really didn't enjoy the 6 month contract I was on. Tomorrow I have an appointment at the unemployment office to register officially as unemployed. This kind of stuff is very important in France since it is a very socialised country. I'm not sure that I worked enough to get unemployment benefits but at the very least I will have access to tools to help me find another job (in theory). More news on that as things pan out.

On the scrapbooking front I only have 6 left swaps to complete. YAY! I see a light at the end of the tunnel. I am also starting to work on the gifts I want to give for Christmas. Since we are going home for the holidays (another YAY!) I have to be very creative about this and use my supplies to make handmade gifts and cut down on costs. They also have to be light because the baggage allowance on the local airline is a mere 40 pounds each. yikes!

And one thing to grumble about, it is getting way too cold here! The high today was 6 degrees Celcius! (43 F). Oh great, they just announced it will be even colder tomorrow! But hey, on the upside it will be sunny :)
