- The restaurants, the culture
- Thanks to the metro I don't have to deal with traffic and I can go anywhere I want
- The anonymity - If I go out not looking my best I don't give a damn because I'll never see these people again! And nobody is minding my business!
- The city lights
- The shopping
- Meeting people from all over the world
What I miss about small island life
- Sunshine all year round!
- The beach
- The warmth and friendliness of the people
- The feeling of connection
- The music, fetes and dancing (I really miss dancing!)
- Knowing where to go and who to call to get anything done
- Did I mention the beach?
- The mangoes! I'd kill for a julie mango!
- The food in general
- My friends I've known since childhood

Making lists is a good activity. It clears out your priority sinuses. Even if one list is longer than the other, there are invisible weights connected to each item. So, living in France weights are stronger and keep you grounded in your happy life.
I loved reading your lists, Fran! You should totally do a layout about this!
P.S. Thank you for visiting my blog! :-)
