And sweet it is indeed!!! Last night I got two e-mails from Cards Magazine, requesting two cards to be published in their January 2007 issue!! This will be my first print publication and I am very happy and excited. I started submitting in January after I set a goal to be published in a major magazine by the end of 2006. My dream is coming true!
The last eight months have been a true learning process for me. I have submitted, and submitted and submitted again, while at the same time trying to learn and grow, to improve my knowledge and skills, and to get myself out there. It is now starting to pay off. I still have quite a ways to go, more goals to reach, more dreams to pursue, but I am definitely enjoying the ride!
