Got back home from rehearsals last night with an itchy throat, just like that, out of nowhere. Made myself a huge cup of tea and took an aspirin. Went to bed with the hopes that it would all be gone by morning. It's still here. I just can't be sick right now, I have way too much to do, as attractive as curling up in bed all day long is. So my mantra for today will be "I can't be sick, I can't be sick, I can't be sick". Here's to the power of positive thinking!!

You'll need more than just positive thinking to prevent the flu! you need to get some vitamin C and some multivitamins with lots of fluid.
It will be all over soon enough. Consider this a time to rest.
I say drink a shot of rum mixed with lime and honey....dat go do wonders chile (hahahahaha)! Can you tell I have had way too many margaritas?
Fran, I'm still alive - been a while since I checked in on you. Good to see your scrapping taking you where you want to be.
And the flu will pass ... I just want to say - Positive thinking WORKS!!! Well, it did for me on Wednesday when I felt as though I was about to get the flu Avery had all weekend. No drugs, no alcohol, and I'm fairly back to okay now.
