Level 4 Y'all!

According to the test I took yesterday I'm at Level 4 : Advanced (out of 5 levels) for my French. It's about what I hoped for even though as I was doing said test I was sure it was going to be level 2! It's nice to have confirmation (validation) about this, it's one of those things that has been kinda holding me back in putting myself out there in the job market. Now I have no more excuses.

And even more exciting because it was totally unexpected is that I am at Level 3:Intermediate with Spanish! After almost 6 years! This has totally motivated me to pick that language up again. Funnily one of my goals (committments/intentions) for 2006 is to become fully tri-lingual and apparantly it's not pie-in-the-sky. So at the end of the month I'll purchase some Spanish books and tapes and once I am working again I will sign up for evening classes in French.

We're off skiing today! It's only the third time I've gone and the last was 2 years ago, so no doubt I'll spend most of my time falling while 2 year olds whiz by me doing fancy jumps and turns!

Great job with the language levels. It is so great to do better than you thought you would.

You tagged me for the "3 things" I have already done this one. It is somewhere in my archives for last month.

But I am tagging you with the "5 weird facts about you" The info is on my blog.

Have a great day
happy blogging

Thank you so much for your nice message on my blog. I must say, I so envy your ability to speak multiple languages. Makes me wish I had stuck with it when I was younger.

You go with your bad self skiing and jumping with the two year olds. I am sure it will be a lot of fun.
